Adonis, the Bearded Vulture male released in the Grands Causses in May 2014, spent the winter in the Baronnies in Provence. He was sighted several times by Vautours en Baronnies employees and by local bird-watchers.
After returning to the Swiss Alps on May 23, he pursued his flight over the Alpine arc and reached Austria on May 28.
The rands Causses are hoping that Adonis returns in a few years to breed with a female.
